Apex Legends Heirloom Tracker: How to Check Your Progress

2 min read

There is no single official heirloom tracker page. Here is how the shard progress bar actually works, and where to check it if you have lost track.

Search for an Apex Legends heirloom tracker and you will not land on one official page — Respawn does not publish a standalone tracker. What exists instead is a progress counter built into the game itself.

Where progress actually lives

Heirlooms are unlocked through Heirloom Shards, earned as a guaranteed drop after opening enough Apex Packs without pulling one. That counter sits inside the Apex Pack opening screen in the client — it is the only place your actual progress is tracked, and it resets once you cash the shards in on a heirloom or melee skin.

The universal heirloom

Season 21 changed the system by adding a universal heirloom that any Legend can equip, rather than one tied to a single character. That is worth knowing before you save shards toward a Legend-specific piece — the universal option is usually the more flexible spend.

Third-party tools

Community sites built around Apex Pack odds exist — apexlegendsstatus.com runs a pack calculator, for example — but they estimate probability, they do not read your account's real shard count. Nothing outside the client shows your exact total.

If you think you are close

Open packs from the same account you are checking. There is no login-based tracker that will tell you faster than the counter already sitting in your own client.
