League of Legends Hall of Fame: It's Hall of Legends

There is no program officially called a Hall of Fame. Riot's version is Hall of Legends — tribute films honouring pros like Uzi and Caps.
There is no program officially called a League of Legends Hall of Fame — the real thing is Hall of Legends, LoL Esports' way of honouring retired professional players.
How it works
Rather than a physical plaque or a voted ballot, each induction is built around a produced tribute film covering the player's career, released through LoL Esports' own channels — Uzi's, for instance, was presented by Mercedes-Benz as a sponsor tie-in.
Who's been inducted
Uzi, the former Chinese AD carry, was honoured as the program's second inductee, with his induction film released in mid-2025. Caps became the first Western pro recognised by Hall of Legends, with his own tribute released in August 2026 — a notable choice given how much of competitive League's history runs through the LCK and LPL.
What it isn't
It is not tied to voting or a fixed annual class the way traditional sports halls of fame work — inductions happen on Riot's own schedule.
If you're looking for the honour by name
Search "Hall of Legends," not "Hall of Fame" — the correct name is what actually turns up results on Riot's own esports channels.
