Marvel Rivals Font: The Logo and the Name Trick
1 min read
Two different questions hide behind this search. One has no clean answer, the other is not really a font at all.
The Marvel Rivals font question splits two ways: people who want the logo lettering for a thumbnail, and people who want a stylised in-game name. They have completely different answers.
The logo
There is no font to download. The angular "RIVALS" wordmark is bespoke lettering drawn for the game — font identification threads on dafont came back empty, the consensus being custom work rather than a modified typeface.
Your options:
- Use the real logo. Vector versions of the official mark are published as brand assets — the right call if you need it accurate.
- Use a lookalike. Metrogard, a paid display font on Gumroad, was drawn in the Marvel Rivals style and gets close for headlines.
- Fake it. A heavy italic sans with a hard shear and a bevel gets most of the way there at thumbnail size.
The name "fonts"
Those 𝔣𝔞𝔫𝔠𝔶 names are not fonts. They are Unicode substitutions — separate characters that happen to look like styled letters, pasted from a generator.
That has consequences. They render inconsistently across devices, they are unsearchable, and name fields often reject them outright. Keep the in-game name plain and save the styling for Discord.
