From the camp's toughest disciplinarian to its most reluctant gunfighter, the women of RDR2 carry more of the story's weight than the marketing let on.

The Red Dead Redemption 2 female characters run well beyond a couple of love interests — several of them drive entire subplots on their own.

Gang members

  • Sadie Adler (Alex McKenna) — a bounty hunter's widow turned capable gunfighter after her husband is killed by O'Driscolls.
  • Abigail Roberts Marston (Cali Elizabeth Moore) — John's partner and Jack's mother, with a past in the gang stretching back to 1894.
  • Susan Grimshaw (Kaili Vernoff) — the camp's stern organiser, running day-to-day operations.
  • Molly O'Shea (Penny O'Brien) — Dutch's lover, whose jealousy and instability end in tragedy.
  • Mary-Beth Gaskill (Samantha Strelitz) — a pickpocket with literary ambitions, later a published novelist under a pen name.
  • Karen Jones (Jo Armeniox) — a thief and gunwoman who thrives on the outlaw lifestyle itself.
  • Tilly Jackson (Meeya Davis-Glover) — rescued from the Foreman brothers early on, later builds a respectable life in Saint Denis.

Outside the gang

  • Mary Linton (Julie Jesneck) — Arthur's former partner.
  • Edith Downes (Jayme Lake) — a widow Arthur can choose to help financially.

Worth noticing

Almost none of these women exist purely as a reward or background prop — each has a want that survives independently of any male character's story.
