Genshin Impact Itto — Arataki Itto in full — is a five-star Geo claymore main DPS who scales off DEF rather than ATK. That one quirk decides his whole build, and it is why gear that works on everyone else falls flat on him.

How he works

His Elemental Skill throws out Ushi, a Geo bull that soaks hits and generates particles. His Burst, Royal Descent, hands him a kanabou: normal and charged attacks turn Geo and his ATK is boosted by a portion of his DEF. Normal attacks build Superlative Superstrength stacks; charged attacks spend them on the wide Kesagiri slashes that are most of his damage.

The build

  • Artifacts: four-piece Husk of Opulent Dreams.
  • Main stats: DEF% sands, Geo goblet, CRIT circlet.
  • Weapon: Redhorn Stonethresher, his signature. Serpent Spine from the Battle Pass and craftable Whiteblind are the alternatives.
  • Targets: about 2,000 DEF and 120–130% Energy Recharge.
  • Talents: Normal Attack, then Burst, then Skill.

Teams

He is mono-Geo and inflexible about it. Gorou is close to mandatory — his DEF buff plus Geo resonance makes the numbers land. Fill the rest with Zhongli for shielding and Albedo or Chiori as a second Geo unit.
