Season 30: Marked launched on 4 August 2026. Here is what changed, and how to check the season for yourself once this page is out of date.

The Apex Legends current season is Season 30: Marked, which went live on 4 August 2026. Respawn ships a new season roughly every nine to ten weeks, so treat that name as accurate for now rather than permanently — check the in-game main menu for the season banner if you are reading this after it has moved on.

What Marked changed

  • Bloodhound reworked. A new ultimate cloaks nearby allies and grants a speed boost with threat vision, the passive now shows trails near enemy clues, and the tactical performs a scan in two stages.
  • Gold attachments replaced. Corrupted Attachments take their place — stronger bonuses that come with a genuine drawback attached, rather than a free upgrade.
  • Energy ammo removed from ground loot. Energy weapons now regenerate ammo on their own over time instead.

Where to verify this yourself

  • The main menu banner names the live season and shows the countdown to the next one.
  • Patch notes on EA's Apex Legends news page are posted at the start of every season and any mid-season update.

Why this matters beyond trivia

Ranked splits, the weapon meta and the Legend roster all reset or shift with the season. A guide that does not name a season for any of those three is describing a snapshot that may have already moved.
