Apex Legends Fuse: Class, Kit and Playstyle
2 min read
An explosives specialist added after launch, built entirely around area denial. Here is what his class and abilities actually do.
Apex Legends Fuse joined the roster after the game's launch, one of the Legends Respawn has added to the game over time, and his identity has stayed narrow and clear since: everything he does involves explosives.
Class
Fuse is an Assault Legend, the class built around gunfights and offensive pressure rather than utility or information.
What the kit does
- Tactical — a thrown explosive built to punish a group of enemies rather than a single target, useful for clearing an area before pushing it.
- Ultimate — a wide area-denial effect that forces enemies out of cover or off an open space, rather than dealing a single burst of damage.
His whole kit reads as offensive area control: instead of hunting a single enemy, he makes a piece of ground unsafe to stand on, which pushes fights in a direction his team can capitalise on.
Where he is strong
Breaking a team that is holding a tight angle, or covering a push into a building where enemies would otherwise have free sightlines.
Kits are not permanent
Season 30: Marked reworked Bloodhound in August 2026 — proof that no kit description is guaranteed to stay accurate. Check the in-game tooltip if anything here looks different from what you see in your client.
