Apex Legends Gun Tier List: The Season 30 Meta

Season 30 rewrote energy ammo and gold attachments, which shuffled the meta more than any individual damage change. Here is what is worth picking up right now.

Any Apex Legends gun tier list is a snapshot of one patch. Respawn tunes weapons every season and often mid-season, so read the reasoning rather than memorising the order — the systems changes in Season 30: Marked moved more than the damage numbers did.

Top of the pile

Flatline, Prowler, C.A.R. SMG, Peacekeeper, Wingman, Triple Take. The Flatline is the safest single pick — no ammo problems, fine at every range you realistically fight at, and functional with no attachments.

Solid, situational

Hemlok, Nemesis, Havoc, Volt, R-301, Mastiff, Sentinel. All fine. Most drop a tier without the right attachments.

The two changes that matter

  • Energy ammo is gone from ground loot. Energy guns now self-regenerate, refilling roughly a magazine every 18 seconds. The Havoc, Volt, Nemesis and Triple Take stopped being logistics problems overnight.
  • Corrupted Attachments replaced gold ones. Strong bonuses with a real drawback, so a pickup is a decision rather than a free upgrade.

Nerfs to note

The Alternator, R-99 and RE-45 all took damage cuts, so close range is less dominant. The 30-30 Repeater has moved into care packages beside the Kraber and L-STAR.
