Apex Legends Event: What Is Coming in Ascended Hunt

The next Apex Legends event is Ascended Hunt, announced by Respawn on 13 August 2026 and scheduled to run from 18 August to 8 September. Like most Apex Legends events, it pairs a limited-time mode with a wave of cosmetics rather than changing the core game.

The mode: Wildcard — Ascended Hunt

Players pick and level up EVO Enhancing Wild Cards by collecting EVO during a match. Enhancements on offer include hipfire spread reduction, a critical damage chance, shield regeneration, lifesteal, and boosts to mantling and sliding. More Wild Card slots unlock as the match goes on, so upgrades stack rather than replace each other. The rotation covers Kings Canyon, E-District and Broken Moon.

The cosmetics

Twenty-four new items ship with the event:

• Legendary skins for Valkyrie, Conduit, Wraith, Alter, Lifeline and Horizon.
• An Epic Mad Maggie skin, earned through the event's Reward Shop rather than bought outright.
• A Prestige skin for Gibraltar — three progression tiers, its own finisher and a fire-themed dive trail.
• Six weapon skins, covering the R-301, Havoc, Alternator, L-STAR, Bocek and 30-30 Repeater.

Earning items without paying

Playing the mode earns Marks, spent in the Reward Shop on event packs, the Mad Maggie skin, battle pass stars, crafting metals and banner badges — a free track that runs alongside anything sold directly.
