Call of Duty Warzone Black Ops 7: The Integration
1 min read
Warzone runs on shared seasons with Black Ops 7 now, sharing weapons, Operators and progression. Checked at Season 5, live since July 2026.
Call of Duty Warzone Black Ops 7 integration has been live since Season 01 launched on 4 December 2025, and it changed how the two games relate to each other rather than just adding a map.
What carried over
Warzone picked up the full Black Ops 7 base arsenal alongside that season's weapons, plus the BO7 Operator roster. More importantly, progression is now shared: player level, weapon levels, Prestige, Battle Pass progress and Daily/Weekly Challenges all count in both games.
Where things stand now
Season 5 launched in late July 2026 and is the active season as of this check in August. A dynamic map rotation replaced the old one-map-per-season model, cycling large maps including Verdansk, Urzikstan and the newer Avalon, which arrived as part of a Blackout-inspired mode earlier in 2026.
Why this matters if you only play Warzone
You do not need to own Black Ops 7 to play any of it — but every season now moves both games together, so a loadout, camo grind or Battle Pass tier bought in one shows up in the other.
Seasons run roughly every six to eight weeks, so check the current one before trusting anything season-specific here.
