Cyberpunk 2077 Edgerunners Items Explained

The anime tie-in is smaller than the David's Jacket quest makes it look — most of the rest of the crossover is scenery, not gear.

Anyone hunting Cyberpunk 2077 Edgerunners items after finishing the anime is usually looking for more than the game actually hands out. The tie-in exists, but it is smaller and more scattered than a full set of named crew gear.

The one confirmed item

David's Jacket, a Legendary outer-torso piece, is the reward for Over the Edge — the side job added in update 1.6 that starts with a braindance in an alley near Megabuilding H4 in Arroyo. It is genuinely wearable end-game armour, not just a cosmetic nod.

The perk that borrows the name

The Edgerunner perk, in the Technical Ability tree, lets you exceed your normal cyberware capacity at the cost of falling health — a mechanical nod to what happens to every edgerunner in the show who pushes too far.

What is not there

There is no separate armoury of named weapons or cyberware for Rebecca, Maine, Lucy or the rest of the crew. Update 2.0 added environmental memorials around the city as quiet easter eggs, but if you are after a full set of collectible crew gear, the honest answer is that it does not exist — the jacket is the centrepiece.
