Cyberpunk 2077 Hidden Cars: The Full List
4 min read
One genuinely free pickup in a Badlands cave, and a string of quest rewards most players never realise they qualified for.
Cyberpunk 2077 hidden cars split into two groups: one you can simply go and find, and a longer list you earn by finishing specific side jobs without ever being told a vehicle was the reward.
Neither group appears in the Autofixer catalogue, which is why players who have bought every car they can see still end up searching for this.
The one that is genuinely free
The Rayfield Caliburn sits in a shipping container inside a cave in the Badlands, unguarded and not tied to any quest — the closest thing the game has to a pure secret-vehicle find.
Getting it:
- Head to the north-west Badlands, out past the Sunset Motel, toward the area near the Rocky Ridge fast travel point.
- Look for the cave entrance in the rock face. It is easy to ride straight past; the opening reads as scenery until you are close.
- Inside, a container holds the Caliburn with the doors unlocked. Get in and it is yours permanently.
It is one of the fastest cars in the game, and you can pick it up within the first few hours if you know where you are going. There is no level requirement and nothing to fight.
A second, damaged Caliburn also exists as part of a scripted event out in the Badlands, but the cave one is the reliable pickup.
Quest-locked rewards worth knowing about
These arrive by text message from a fixer or a friend after the job is done, which is exactly why people miss them — the notification looks like any other message.
| Vehicle | How you get it |
|---|---|
| Hella EC-D I360 | Automatic once you finish The Heist |
| Turbo-R V-Tech | Reward for Sex on Wheels |
| Porsche 911 II (930) Turbo | Reward for Chippin' In |
| Nazaré Itsumade | Reward for The Highwayman |
| Jackie's Arch | Tied to Heroes, conditional on an earlier choice |
| Mackinaw Beast | Reward for The Beast in Me |
| Delamain No. 21 | Unlocked by finishing Don't Lose Your Mind |
| Quadra Type-66 "Javelina" | Reward for finishing the Beast in Me race series |
Two of those deserve a note.
Johnny's Porsche is the one most people want and the one most easily lost. Chippin' In is a main-job-adjacent quest that can be left unfinished all the way to the endgame, and the car only arrives once it is done.
Jackie's Arch depends on a decision made much earlier: during Heroes you are asked what to do with Jackie's bike, and only one answer results in it being delivered to you afterwards. There is no way to correct it later on the same save.
Phantom Liberty additions
The expansion added its own set, reachable only once you are in Dogtown:
- Rayfield Caliburn "Mordred" — an armoured variant tied to Phantom Liberty content rather than the Badlands cave.
- Militech Behemoth and other Dogtown-specific vehicles that show up through gigs for El Capitán.
- A number of cars that become purchasable rather than awarded, which is a different thing from a hidden one but often what people mean.
Vehicles you can steal but not keep
Worth clearing up, because it is the most common false lead. Any parked or driving car in Night City can be jacked and driven, and some of them are rare models you will never see in the Autofixer list. None of that is permanent — once you leave it, it despawns, and it never appears in your vehicle call menu.
The only cars that stay yours are the ones you buy, the ones awarded by a job, and the Caliburn in the cave.
Why lists go out of date
CD Projekt has kept adding vehicles and changing how they are acquired across updates, and the 2.0 rework changed vehicle handling, the Autofixer catalogue and several acquisition routes at once. A list compiled before that update can be wrong in both directions — cars that are now purchasable, and cars that were added afterwards.
If something on a list is not appearing for you, check your game version before assuming you did the quest wrong.
Quick answers
Can you get the Caliburn early? Yes. There is no level or story gate on the cave — only the ride out there.
Do hidden cars need a specific life path? No. Life path affects dialogue and the prologue, not vehicle rewards.
What happens if a reward car is destroyed? Nothing permanent. Call it again from the vehicle menu and it returns intact; owned vehicles cannot be lost.
