Elden Ring Nightreign Cheat Engine: What It Actually Does

Cheat Engine is a generic PC memory editor, not a Nightreign-specific tool — and using it while online risks the same anti-cheat consequences as the base game.

Elden Ring Nightreign Cheat Engine searches are usually about the same generic PC tool used across hundreds of other games — it is not something FromSoftware built in or supports.

What it actually does

Cheat Engine scans and edits a running process's memory, which lets players change values like runes, item counts or health while offline. It works on Nightreign the same way it works on any other unprotected process.

The anti-cheat problem

Nightreign runs Easy Anti-Cheat for its online components, the same system the base game uses. Running Cheat Engine while EAC is active is what gets flagged — not the tool itself, but doing it online.

The safer pattern

Launch offline with EAC disabled before touching memory values, and never take that save into an online expedition afterwards. Since Nightreign runs in three-person squads, taking a modified save online risks flagging teammates' sessions too, not just your own.

What is not worth the risk

Anything claiming to unlock DLC characters or relics without playing — these are exactly the saves that get accounts locked out of online co-op.
