Tougher, online-only remixes of the standard Nightlords, added after launch and rotated on a weekly schedule.

Elden Ring Nightreign Everdark Sovereign fights are harder remixes of the standard Nightlord bosses, added to the game after launch as extra end-game content rather than a replacement for the base roster.

How they differ from the standard fight

An Everdark Sovereign reworks the fight rather than padding its health bar. The enhanced version of Caligo, Fissure in the Fog, is the clearest example: it opens already in what used to be the boss's second phase, then adds a new phase of its own at half health, encasing itself in ice.

Availability

These fights are online-only, and only a subset of Nightlords is available as an Everdark Sovereign at any one time — FromSoftware rotates which ones are active weekly rather than making the whole set permanently selectable.

Why bother with them

They suit squads who have cleared the standard roster and want a harder version of a fight they know. Expect fights to run longer and punish mistakes harder.

Before you queue one

Since the roster rotates weekly, check which Sovereign is currently active before building a squad around one specific fight.
