Hogwarts Legacy: all Demiguise locations add up to 30 statues, and collecting them is not optional if you want to open every lock in the game.

What they are for

Each Demiguise Moon Statue you find upgrades your Alohomora spell:

• 9 statues unlock Alohomora Level 2.
• 13 statues unlock Alohomora Level 3.
• All 30 award the Demiguise Dread Trophy.

Level 2 and 3 locks sit on plenty of chests and doors you will have already walked past, so this is a collectible that gates other collectibles.

Where to look, by region

• Hogwarts Castle — 11 statues, spread through areas like the Astronomy Wing, the Great Hall, the Library Annex and the Bell Tower Wing.
• Hogsmeade — 9 statues, mostly in shops and locked houses such as Dervish and Banges and the Three Broomsticks.
• The Highlands — 10 statues, scattered through settlements including Aranshire, Lower Hogsfield and the Feldcroft region.

The one rule that trips people up

Demiguise Statues only appear at night. Finding nothing at a spot guides swear is correct is almost always a time-of-day problem, not a wrong location — sleep in a bed and check again.
