A steel case, a life-size floating wand and a mount that never made it to standard editions. Here is everything the collector's edition included, and why it is no longer for sale.

The Hogwarts Legacy Collectors Edition was the most expensive way to buy the game at launch, and it has not been reprinted since — every listing has been sold out for a long time now.

What it included

On top of everything in the Deluxe Edition, the Collector's Edition added:

  • A Life-Size Floating Ancient Magic Wand with its own book-case display
  • A steel case for the game
  • The Kelpie Robe cosmetic set
  • The Onyx Hippogriff mount, a pre-order bonus bundled in
  • 72 hours of early access on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC

The PlayStation-only extras

Two pieces were exclusive to PlayStation regardless of edition: the Felix Felicis Potion Recipe and the Haunted Hogsmeade Shop quest. Buying the Collector's Edition on another platform did not unlock them — they were tied to the console, not the edition.

Should you still look for one

Not really. The physical extras are cosmetic, and the Onyx Hippogriff and early access are long past mattering — every player is on the same patch now regardless of which edition they originally bought. If you are buying today, the standard edition gets you the same game.
