Hogwarts Legacy: Find Rococo in Henrietta's Hideaway

Hogwarts Legacy: find Rococo and you close one of the game's better-hidden side quests. Talk to Agnes Coffey, the vendor in the hamlet of Bainburgh in the south-east, and she starts Rescuing Rococo — her pet Niffler has gone missing. The quest only becomes available after you have completed The High Keep with Natty.

Where Rococo actually is

Henrietta's Hideaway, under the ruined fortress at the very southern tip of Manor Cape. It is a long ride down the coast from Bainburgh, so fly if you have a mount. The entrance sits on the south-eastern side of the hill, below the ruin, reached from the small beach.

Inside

It is a trap-filled dungeon held by Ashwinders, built around moving cubes onto marked circles and hitting them with the matching spell — Glacius on the ice circle, Levioso on the feather circle, a fire cast on the brazier platform. Revelio is worth spamming: the trail of coins Rococo has dropped shows you which way the route goes.

Catching him

He is in a small chamber past the last door. Nifflers bolt, so slow him first — Arresto Momentum or Levioso both pin him long enough — then use the Nab-Sack.

The three endings

Hand him back, demand a finder's fee, or keep him for yourself. All three close the quest and all three pay out 180 XP and the Niffler Fur-Lined Hat, so pick whichever fits your character.
