Hogwarts Legacy: In the Shadow of Time is the Sebastian Sallow quest where his search for a cure finally puts him at odds with Ominis in the open.

Getting there

It needs In the Shadow of the Bloodline, In the Shadow of the Study, In the Shadow of Discovery and Professor Weasley's Assignment all completed first. The quest itself plays out in Feldcroft Catacomb.

Inside the catacomb

Spiders block paths behind webs — burn them clear with Incendio.
An altar holds a Student Journal Entry worth grabbing on the way past.
Bone-pile barricades need clearing with Accio and Wingardium Leviosa.

The choice that matters

Sebastian and Ominis disagree over whether to take the relic at all. Siding with Sebastian has him teach you Imperio on the spot, and you cast it on Ominis as part of the scene — a hard beat regardless of which way your sympathies lean.

After the relic

Ranrok's Loyalists attack Feldcroft, and you defend it before speaking with Solomon Sallow. Finishing here opens In the Shadow of Distance.

What you walk away with

180 XP and the Imperio spell.
