Hogwarts Legacy Infamous Foes: All 21 and the Rewards

Twenty-one named enemies scattered across the map, three mask rewards, and only twelve kills needed to finish the challenge line.

Hogwarts Legacy infamous foes are named elite enemies with their own health bars, dotted around the open world rather than gated behind quests. There are 21 of them, and even the weakest will punish a build that has not invested in talents.

The reward tiers

The Combat challenge line pays out facewear:

3 defeated — Avenging Wolf Mask
6 defeated — Avenging Owl Mask
12 defeated — Avenging Raven Mask

Twelve is the last tier. Clearing all 21 is a completionist goal, not a requirement, so if you only want the masks you can stop nine short.

Who they are

The roster mixes beasts with duellists: the Absconder, the Insatiable Spider, the Rampant Dugbog, the Quagmire and Riparian Trolls, the Grim and the White Wolf on the creature side; Tempeste Thorne, Gwendolyn Zhou, Belgruff the Bludgeoner, Catrin Haggarty, Ogbert the Odd, Iona Morgan, Dunstan Trinity, Alyssa Travers and Silvanus Selwyn among the human ones.

How to fight them

Check the level first. Several sit well above the region they spawn in. Coming back ten levels later is a legitimate tactic.
Ancient Magic is your damage window. Build the bar on adds, spend it on the foe.
Bring Protego. These fights have long unblockable tells and they reward patience more than spell rotation.
