The League of Legends animated series is Arcane — two seasons on Netflix, both now complete, with spin-offs in early development.

The League of Legends animated series is Arcane, made by French studio Fortiche alongside Riot's own animation team, for Netflix.

What is out

Two seasons: the first in 2021, the second — billed as the final season — in November 2024. Both cover the same core cast: Vi, Jinx, Jayce, Caitlyn, Viktor and Ekko, alongside champions who started as background characters, including Heimerdinger, Singed and Warwick.

Is there a season 3?

No. Riot and Netflix have described season 2 as Arcane's ending, not a mid-story pause. If you are waiting on a season 3 pickup, that is not what is planned.

What comes next

Riot has said spin-offs set in other regions of Runeterra are in development. These would be separate shows rather than a continuation of Arcane's Piltover-Zaun story, so treat "more Arcane" and "more animated League" as two different promises.

Where to watch

Netflix is the exclusive home for both seasons — there is no separate League client or Riot-hosted stream for it.
