Marvel Rivals Catwoman: She Is Not in the Game
2 min read
Catwoman belongs to DC. The character people are actually looking for is Black Cat, and she arrived in Season 7.
There is no Marvel Rivals Catwoman, and there never will be. Catwoman — Selina Kyle — is a DC Comics character. Marvel Rivals draws its entire roster from the Marvel universe, so a DC character cannot appear in it regardless of how popular she is.
The character you probably mean
Black Cat — Felicia Hardy — is Marvel's cat-burglar antihero and a long-running Spider-Man supporting character. She is in the game: added on 17 April 2026 as the mid-season hero of Season 7, arriving a few weeks after White Fox opened that season.
The two characters are easy to conflate. Both are thieves in dark bodysuits with feline codenames, both have on-and-off romantic history with the city's most famous masked hero, and both predate most of the copycats that followed. They are not related, and neither company licenses the other's characters.
Why crossovers do not happen here
Marvel Rivals is developed and published by NetEase Games in collaboration with Marvel Games. The licence covers Marvel properties. A DC character would need a separate agreement with Warner Bros. Discovery, and no such arrangement exists for this game — nor for any Marvel game.
Other cat-themed Marvel heroes
If Black Cat is not the one you meant, Marvel's roster also includes Tigra, Hellcat and Black Panther — of whom only Black Panther has been in the game since launch. The others have not been announced.
What to search instead
If you came here from a video or a listing claiming Catwoman gameplay in Marvel Rivals, it is either mislabelled Black Cat footage or a mod. Search for Black Cat and you will find the character, the kit and the skins you were after.
