Call of Duty Black Ops Five: The Map and the Missing Sequel

Search for Call of Duty Black Ops Five and you land on two different things. One is a Zombies map. The other is a game that does not exist.

"Five" the Zombies map

"Five" is the second Zombies map in the 2010 Black Ops, set inside the Pentagon, and it unlocks after you finish the campaign on any difficulty. Its hook is the playable crew: John F. Kennedy, Richard Nixon, Fidel Castro and Robert McNamara, caught mid-meeting about the Cuban Missile Crisis when the outbreak starts.

Map details worth knowing:

• The wall flip in the briefing room swings round to reveal a wall-buy armoury once the round begins.
• A Pentagon Thief appears from round six or so and steals a weapon outright if it reaches you — killing it returns the gun, usually Pack-a-Punched.
• Three floors connected by lifts, with the teleporter-free layout making it one of the more claustrophobic maps in the era.

The game that never was

There is no Black Ops 5. Treyarch's fourth numbered entry, Black Ops 4, was followed by Black Ops Cold War in 2020, which took the fifth slot without the number. When the series returned to numbering in 2024 it went straight to Black Ops 6, treating Cold War as the fifth game after the fact.

Which one you meant

If you were after the map, it is on the original Black Ops — including the native PS5 and PS4 port Activision released in July 2026. If you were after the sequel, Cold War is the game that fills the gap.
