GTA 5 Gauntlet Locations Map: The Cars for the Heist

The Gauntlets are a setup mission, not free-roam collectibles — and there is a way to skip the hunt entirely if you are short on patience.

People looking for a GTA 5 gauntlet locations map are almost always in the same place: the setup for the final heist, wondering where the cars are meant to be.

Why you need them

The Gauntlets belong to The Big Score, and only if you pick the subtle approach. The plan calls for four of them, but you personally source three — then take them to Los Santos Customs for the required modifications.

How the game tells you where they are

Lester emails you the locations. That email is the actual answer to this search: the game does not scatter Gauntlets randomly for you to hunt, it points at specific parked cars and marks them.

One that people find first is on the roof of the multi-storey car park beside Vangelico in Pillbox Hill — drive to the top floor and it is there, wearing a black-and-white paint job with racing stripes.

The shortcut nobody mentions

You do not have to collect them at all. Gauntlets can be bought from the in-game car websites and delivered, which satisfies the setup without any driving across the map. If a marked car has despawned or you wrecked one on the way, this is the fix rather than reloading.

After the setup

Once modified, the cars are stored for the heist. Damaging them before delivery is the one way to fail the mission, so drive the boring route.
