GTA Online HSW Cars: The Full Upgrade List Explained
1 min read
Hao's Special Works sits above LS Customs, and only next-gen platforms get it. Here is what qualifies and what the conversion changes.
GTA Online HSW cars are the vehicles eligible for Hao's Special Works upgrades — a performance tier above LS Customs, available only on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and the Expanded & Enhanced PC build.
What HSW actually changes
An HSW conversion swaps in stronger engine, brake and transmission upgrades than a normal shop offers, adds a unique livery option, and in most cases raises top speed meaningfully over the standard max-upgraded version.
Who is eligible
Only a set list of Super, Sports and Muscle class vehicles qualify — cars like the Itali GTO Stinger TT, the Coil Cyclone II and the Buffalo EVX are among them. Ordinary road cars and off-list vehicles cannot be converted, however they are upgraded.
Getting the upgrade
HSW work is done at Hao's Special Works, reached through LS Car Meet, and it is not cheap — each eligible car needs its own conversion.
Worth it?
If you are not on next-gen console or the E&E PC build, none of this applies to you — HSW simply is not available on the older versions.
