GTA Online Jobs: What They Are and How to Start One
1 min read
A Job is anything structured you launch on purpose — a race, a mission, a deathmatch. Here is where they come from and how to queue one up.
GTA Online jobs are the game's catch-all term for a structured activity: a Race, Deathmatch, Survival, Parachuting run or mission you launch on purpose rather than stumbling into it in free roam.
Two sources
- Rockstar-created jobs — built by Rockstar, always available, and what most Daily Objectives point you toward.
- Creator jobs — built by other players with the in-game Creator tool, ranging from serious race tracks to joke maps.
How to start one
Open the pause menu, go to Online > Jobs, and pick a category, or use the Quick Job phone app to jump into something quickly. A Job Board blip in free roam can also set one on the spot.
Playlists
Jobs can be queued into a playlist so the session moves from one to the next without returning to a menu — useful for grinding RP across several races in a row.
Rewards
Most jobs pay GTA$ and RP on completion, with better placement paying more, and Rockstar rotates bonus payouts onto selected jobs weekly.
