Apex Legends Bangalore: Class, Kit and Playstyle
2 min read
A launch-day Legend whose kit is built around controlling a gunfight rather than winning one outright. Here is what her class and abilities actually do.
Apex Legends Bangalore has been in the roster since the game launched in February 2019, and she has never dropped out of regular rotation — which is unusual for a Legend with no gimmick.
Class
Bangalore sits in the Assault class, one of five class styles Respawn introduced in Season 16. Assault Legends are built around gunfights rather than information or support.
What the kit does
- Passive — she moves faster while enemy fire lands near her, so getting shot at mid-sprint does not force her to slow down or stop.
- Tactical — a smoke round that breaks line of sight, thrown to cover a push, a revive or a retreat.
- Ultimate — a rolling artillery barrage that telegraphs before it lands, covering a wide strip of ground in damage and smoke together.
Why the kit works
None of it wins a fight on its own. Smoke buys a few seconds of cover, the passive keeps her moving through a bad angle, and the barrage punishes a team holding still. Together they are about shaping the fight rather than ending it.
One thing to check yourself
Respawn does rework kits — Bloodhound's overhaul landed with Season 30: Marked in August 2026. If anything above reads differently in your client, the in-game ability tooltip is the current source, not this or any other guide.
