Elden Ring Nightreign Gaping Jaw: Weakness and Boss Strategy
1 min read
Adel, Baron of Night is a dragon that heals itself by grabbing players — poison stops both problems at once.
Elden Ring Nightreign Gaping Jaw is the community name for Adel, Baron of Night, a dragon-type Nightlord with one dominant weakness.
The weakness
Poison. Enough of it makes Adel vomit and stagger, opening a window for critical damage. Bring Poison Pots and Poison Grease, and stack the Attack Boost (Dragons) Dormant Power from the Mountaintop if it is available.
Key attacks (normal mode)
- Large electric AOE once it drops below 50% HP — keep distance.
- Grab and chew — it heals itself doing this; interrupt with an Ultimate Art if one is ready.
- Single-target lunge and bite chain after a roar — dodge repeatedly while the rest of the squad attacks from behind.
Everdark Sovereign phase
The arena shrinks, it dashes rapidly before releasing electricity, and it dive-bombs into an expanding cyclone — stand in the tornado's centre rather than trying to outrun it. Recommended level for a standard fight sits around 12.
