Elden Ring Nightreign: All Bosses, By Category
1 min read
Nightreign spreads its bosses across four categories rather than one big list. Here is what separates a Nightlord from a Night Boss.
Elden Ring Nightreign all bosses fall into four categories, and mixing them up is the usual source of confusion in guides.
Nightlords
The eight final bosses, one per expedition, fought on the third night: Gladius (Tricephalos), Adel (Gaping Jaw), Caligo (Fissure in the Fog), Maris (Augur), Gnoster (Sentient Pest), Libra (Equilibrious Beast), Fulghor (Darkdrift Knight), and Heolstor the Nightlord (Night Aspect).
DLC Nightlords
Forsaken Hollows added Balancers and Dreglord as expedition bosses of their own, each unlocked through the DLC's own requirements.
Night Bosses
Mandatory fights that gate progress from one night to the next — Bell Bearing Hunter, Ulcerated Tree Spirit, Gaping Dragon, Valiant Gargoyle and Nameless King are among the pool, alongside the DLC's crossover Knight Artorias.
World Bosses and Special Bosses
Optional field enemies like Runebears and Magma Wyrms scattered across Limveld, plus one-off fights such as the Night Idol guarding Revenant's unlock.
