Elden Ring Nightreign Artorias: Knight Artorias Location

Elden Ring Nightreign Artorias is not a Nightlord — Knight Artorias is a crossover Night Boss pulled in from Dark Souls, and he is exclusive to the Forsaken Hollows DLC.

Where he appears

He shows up as one of the possible Night Bosses at the end of the second night of Dreglord's expedition. He is not guaranteed every run; he is one option from a pool.

Recommended level

Around level 12 gives a standard fight. Attempting him lower is possible if you want the extra challenge.

Phase one

Block rather than dodge where you can. Ranged characters like Ironeye or Recluse can chip away safely while melee holds aggro and a shield up front.

Phase two

He speeds up and chains combos more often. Watch for the Abyss charge — he winds up and unleashes an explosion of slow-moving projectiles that need evading rather than blocking. His hits also inflict Abyss, a status that raises his attack power but lowers his damage negation, so pressure him hard once it is stacked.
