GTA Online Arcade: Prices and Which One to Buy
2 min read
Six arcades, a million-plus each, and the cheapest is a trap for a reason that has nothing to do with the arcade itself.
The GTA Online arcade is not really an arcade business. It is the property that unlocks the Diamond Casino Heist, and the cabinets are a side effect.
What it costs
There are six arcades, priced from roughly $1,235,000 to $2,530,000:
- Pixel Pete's, Paleto Bay — the cheapest, around $1,235,000
- The Eight-Bit, Vinewood — the most expensive, around $2,530,000
The rest sit between the two. They are bought from the Maze Bank Foreclosures site in the in-game browser.
Why the cheapest one is a mistake
Every arcade functions identically. What differs is where it is, and the heist sends you back and forth to the casino repeatedly during setup. Paleto Bay is at the far north of the map, so the discount buys you a lot of driving.
If you plan to run the heist more than a couple of times, a central arcade pays the difference back in time.
What the arcade itself earns
The cabinets generate a small passive income once you buy them, and it is genuinely small — treat it as decoration. The money is in the heist, not the machines.
What it also unlocks
The basement holds the heist planning board, and it can house the Master Control Terminal, which lets you launch your other businesses from one screen. That is the real quality-of-life reason to own one.
