The best sacred seal for a pure Faith build — but only once your Faith is high enough. Here is where it is and where the crossover point sits.
The Elden Ring Erdtree Seal is the endgame pick for pure Faith builds — with a condition attached that catches people out.
Where it is
Volcano Manor, in the prison section. From the Prison Town Church Site of Grace head north-west to an open cell; the seal is inside. There is an Omenkiller patrolling nearby, so clear it or run past.
Why it is good
Two things:
- Zero weight. Every other sacred seal weighs 1.5. On a build fighting for medium roll, that is free equip load.
- Scaling that climbs as you upgrade it. It starts at C Faith scaling, hits B at +1, A at +3 and S at +5. It takes Somber Smithing Stones, so it is cheap to push to +10.
The condition
It is the strongest Faith-only seal once Faith is above roughly 68. Below that, other seals out-damage it — so swapping to it at 40 Faith and wondering why nothing changed is the usual mistake. It is a build you grow into.
Who should skip it
Anything hybrid. If you are splitting into Intelligence or leaning on a weapon for most of your damage, a seal that scales off other stats will serve you better. The Erdtree Seal is for players going to 80 Faith and casting as their main attack.
