Elden Ring Isolated Divine Tower: How to Get There

2 min read

It sits on an island with no bridge and no path. The only ways in are a sending gate in Leyndell and a trap chest most players avoid.

The Elden Ring Isolated Divine Tower earns its name: it stands on a small island in the sea, north of Dragonbarrow and south of the Mountaintops of the Giants, with no land route at all. Torrent cannot get you there.

The main route

Go to Leyndell, Royal Capital and find the Divine Bridge. The sending gate there teleports you straight to the tower. This is the route almost everyone uses, and it is the reason the tower is easy to miss — you have to already be deep in the capital.

The alternate route

There is a transporter trap chest at the top of the Tower of Return, reached by travelling south-east from the Isolated Merchant's Shack in the Weeping Peninsula. Opening it throws you across the map to the same island. Trap chests are usually something players learn to avoid, which is why this one stays obscure.

What is at the top

A Great Rune waiting to be restored — Malenia's. If you have beaten Malenia, her rune is inactive until you bring it here.

The catch

The tower's lift only responds if you are carrying a Great Rune that needs restoring. Arriving without one means a long trip for a view, so check your inventory before you take the gate.
