Overwatch 2 Healers: Every Support and How They Differ
1 min read
Not every Overwatch 2 healer is built to top the healing chart — some are there for utility, and mixing the two is the point.
Overwatch 2 healers is the community's shorthand for the Support role, and the roster splits into two rough styles a team usually needs one of each to cover.
Main supports
Built around consistent, high-volume healing: Mercy, Ana, Lúcio, Baptiste, Illari and Juno. These keep a team's health bars topped through a sustained fight.
Flex supports
Lean more on utility or crowd control than raw healing throughput: Zenyatta, Moira, Brigitte, Kiriko, Lifeweaver and Freja. Some still heal plenty — Moira especially — but their value shows up as much in what they disable or enable as in the healing number at the end of the match.
Why the split matters
Two flex supports with no dedicated healer usually struggles through a real fight; two main supports with no utility struggles against dive. Most stable comps pair one of each rather than doubling up.
The newest additions
2026 added Mizuki and Jetpack Cat to the support roster.
