Hogwarts Legacy Irondale Collection Chests: All Three

The Hogwarts Legacy Irondale collection chests number three, which makes Irondale one of the quicker hamlets to clear — provided you find the one that is not in a building.

Chest 1 — behind the shop

Irondale has a single hamlet shop. The first chest is inside the house directly behind it. Walk in through the front door; nothing here is locked or hidden.

Chest 2 — across from the windmill

Find the windmill on the edge of the settlement. The second chest is inside the house directly across from it, again on the ground floor.

Chest 3 — by the waterfall

This is the one people miss, because it is outdoors. Head to the water wheel on the northern side of the hamlet. Behind it is a bridge looking out over a waterfall, and the chest sits beside the waterfall on a section of ruins. If you are on a broom you will fly straight past it — approach on foot from the bridge.

Irondale also holds a Demiguise statue and several Field Guide pages, so it is worth clearing the whole hamlet in one visit rather than returning for each collectible type. The Demiguise statue needs Alohomora and can only be collected at night, so time the trip accordingly — sleeping at a Floo Flame to shift to night is faster than waiting.

Checking your count

The map filter for Collection Chests will show what you have left in the region. Irondale sits in the Hogwarts Valley region, so if your regional count is short after these three, the remaining chests are outside the hamlet rather than in it.
